Shape Up For Life With Positive Affirmations

November 24, 2015 By Karen Ficarelli

Lose weight, stick to your diet, work out regularly, get fit, enrich relationships and stick to your budget. All of these things are possible when you arm yourself with positive affirmations.

I sincerely believe in the positive force that is created through repeated affirmations. I like to say mine first thing in the morning, before I start my day. These declarations provide the boost that I need to get out there and make something wonderful happen.

Of course, I will admit that there are many things that are out of my control. All sorts of incidents have occurred in my life of which I have had no say so whatsoever. But one thing has remained constant. My faith, my belief that God is in control and that He created me to be someone special. My positive affirmations reinforce this belief and keep me strong in the face of adversity.

The fitness goals that I set for myself are within my control. But that does not make them any easier. Because the goals I have are not easy to attain, I need the positive effects of affirmations to help me stay focused to succeed.

These same affirmations can help you reach your goals, too. Daily affirmations are easy to fit into your busy schedule. All you need is about 5 minutes and the benefits can last throughout the day. Set aside this small amount of time, preferably in the morning.

It’s best to repeat your affirmations in front of a mirror and look at your reflection as you say them. You must believe it to achieve it.

So, if your goal is to lose weight then you should repeat affirmations such as:

I am losing weight.
I am eating healthy foods.
I will not overeat today.
I will eat 3 servings of fruit today.
My clothes look better because I am losing weight.
I will eat 3 servings of vegetables today.
My body is my temple.
I feel sexy when I eat healthy foods.
I feel confident that I can lose all the weight that I want.

Sound simple enough? Affirmations are one of the easiest parts of dieting and getting in shape. Put it to the test, but remember: you must believe it to achieve it.

Start your day on a positive note, set yourself up for success at the beginning of each day. Just 5 minutes of daily affirmations can put the positive force you need in everything you do.

Skulpt Aim Review

November 10, 2015 By Karen Ficarelli

I just can’t stop talking about my newest addiction. It’s totally healthy and has become a vital part of my fitness lifestyle. The Skulpt Aim is my favorite new fitness tool and I just love it. I have synced it to my phone to give me all the information I need to monitor my entire workout. It really has taken the guesswork out of my fitness program.

Skulpt Aim Review

Too often, people make Monday resolutions to lose weight that are soon forgotten by Friday. Unfortunately, the majority of women still believe that number on the scale represents their overall health. In addition to a healthy weight, muscle quality is vital to a woman’s complete health and wellbeing. As a personal trainer, I know the importance of muscle mass for women, especially as we age. That’s why I really like the Skulpt Aim, because it gives me all the information I need to monitor my muscle development and overall fitness, which I can tell you is much more important than any number on the scale.

The Skulpt Aim measures fat and muscle. It not only tells you the percentage of fat you have in your body, but also the fitness of your muscles. You can track exactly where most of your fat lies, and more importantly, the real muscle quality of 24 individual muscles.

I believe that knowledge is power. With accurate information about the quality of my muscles, I can power up my workout to make it more effective for my body. Skulpt definitely keeps me motivated and recharged.
I’m always looking for fitness motivators and ways to keep the focus on fitness, because I truly believe that fitness isn’t an on-again off-again resolution. For me, it’s a lifestyle.

As your body changes, your fitness routine should change as well. When exercises that were hard become easier, it’s time to make some changes to keep your muscles challenged. The Skulpt Aim makes it easy with integrated online tracking that syncs automatically to your personal online dashboard, tracking your results and offering advice on the best workout for your body type. It’s basically your own personal trainer. Measuring your fat and body percentages in the privacy of your home.

Fitness is a healthy lifestyle and the Skulpt Aim can be an integral part of it. It’s my healthy new addiction, I look forward to using it everyday. Take my advice and give it a try, the Skulpt Aim is guaranteed to hook you for life.
