Your Thoughts Hold The Key To Transforming Your Life

January 13, 2010 By Karen Ficarelli

Much of your happiness and your success in life are controlled by the thoughts you hold in your subconscious mind. You are what you think you are. If you start the day off with a positive attitude chances are your day will end positively. If you allow negativity to roost in your mind and convey itself in your attitude, your day will probably end on the downslide as well.

Why not give your day a power punch by beginning with positive affirmations. Remind yourself of all that you have to be thankful for and all that you can do. Recite your affirmations out loud or write them down and read them back to yourself. Take time for some peaceful meditation, allowing your appreciation for life to fill your spirit with love and gratitude.

Positive affirmations are powerful statements that are used to build a positive internal dialog. By consistently repeating positive affirmations to yourself, you create positive subconscious thoughts.

But how do you remember to take time out for affirmations? With a busy day just getting started, it’s tempting to skip just about anything to get going. But just like you don’t want to skip brushing your teeth because your mouth will feel yucky, skipping your affirmations will make you day feel yucky too.

If you want to change a habit or make a habit you have to be consistent for at least 30 days. That’s how long it takes your brain to accept the new idea and to form the habit. After the first 30 days, you will become so accustomed to saying your affirmations that you will find that you actually look forward to them.

Affirmations can really change the way you feel about yourself and others. Fitness4Her is a diet and fitness program that’s based on a diet you can stick to and an exercise program that’s easy and fun. Affirmations and journaling are encouraged to keep you motivated and accountable so that you will succeed in your journey to a healthier body in order to live a happier lifestyle.

This time you will succeed. Conceive it, believe it, achieve it. Now go out there and make it happen!

Positive Thoughts Produce Positive Results

December 21, 2009 By Karen Ficarelli

Developing a positive mindset is one of the most powerful weight loss strategies there is. Using powerful positive thinking techniques, visualizations and positive affirmations, will make it possible to achieve whatever you desire. Successful people use these techniques to develop personal power or gain a competitive edge. Learning to channel your energy through positive affirmations will transform your life, your health and renew the joy and passion for life.

You’ve probably heard of ambitious professionals repeating affirmations as they look in the mirror, when they drive down the road or prior to going to bed. This isn’t just some kind of passing fad. Positive affirmations have been in vogue since biblical times. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he..”—Proverbs 23:7.

Whatever we believe ourselves to be is truly what we become. If we call ourselves fat, useless, lazy or stupid, we tend to walk about defeated and deflated. But if we lift our selves up with positive affirmations of praise and gratitude for all that we are and all that we have, we walk with our heads held high, full of confidence, happiness and grace

Imagine waking up each morning, bursting with excitement, energy and joy for the new day. Get started building your self-esteem with powerful words that will take you over the top!

Here are ten positive affirmations to kick start your day. Love the person that you are, allow yourself the happiness that surrounds us. Believe in yourself and others will see you as you see yourself.

1. I am special.
2. I can do anything that I set out to do.
3. I look thinner when I exercise.
4. I love how exercise makes me feel.
5. I am thankful for my life.
6. I feel healthy and vibrant today.
7. I will walk further today than I did yesterday.
8. I will eat healthy foods today.
9. My clothes look better on me because I exercise.
10. Something good comes my way, everyday.

Positive Affirmations for a Positively Wonderful Day

November 27, 2009 By Karen Ficarelli

Positive affirmations are your brain’s way of redirecting your body’s energy to keep you motivated. The brain cannot see or hear it only reacts to the stimuli that you feed it. Negative affirmations like: “I am always tired” or “Why can’t I ever do anything right?” Only serve to reinforce negative energy and stand in the way of your progress. If you need help coming up with your own positive affirmations, try some of the following to get you started.

For Exercise:
• I love to exercise.
• Exercise makes me feel good.
• Exercise is good for my heart, my lungs and my health.
• I feel healthier when I exercise.
• I look better when I exercise and it shows.
• I have more energy when I exercise.
• I am becoming stronger every day.
• My family and I are both happier when I exercise.
• I get more accomplished when I exercise.
• I look better in my clothes when I exercise.
• I sleep better because I exercise.
• My skin looks good when I exercise.
• I can handle life’s challenges when I exercise.
• My diet is easier to maintain because I exercise.

For Diet:
• I love to eat healthy foods.
• I will eat slowly and enjoy the taste of my food.
• My body is benefiting because I am taking charge of what I eat.
• I don’t feel guilty about eating.
• Food is not the problem.
• Food is the answer.
• I love life and want to eat healthy foods.
• The foods I eat will protect my body from disease.
• The foods I eat will give me strength.
• I no longer want to eat foods that provide empty calories.
• Before I reach for a snack I will think about what I am putting into my body.
• I will always wait 10 minutes after eating before going back for seconds.
• I am grateful for my health and want to preserve it.
• I will not be judged by the number on the scale.
• I can make a difference in my own life.

Begin each day with positive affirmations. Write them down in your fitness journal where you can see them. Repeat them to yourself in the morning before your workout and remind yourself of them before you go to bed at night. Believe in yourself, be grateful for all that you have and all that you are, a healthy positive, wonderful you!

Using Affirmations To Bring About Success

November 4, 2009 By Karen Ficarelli

Affirmations and gratitude changed my life. Affirming what I want and putting my words on paper helps me to focus on my goal. When I acknowledge all that I have to be thankful for, a feeling of peacefulness and satisfaction surround me.

The mind is our biggest catalyst for change. Positive thoughts bring about positive actions. Every good deed in this world began with an idea and a belief that a certain action was possible.

To affirm your beliefs, you need to organize your thoughts by writing them down. No matter how crazy or silly it sounds, this part of your affirmation is most important.
Be sure to include how you plan to implement your idea. This will set your mind in motion and give it permission to succeed.

Concentrate on everything good about yourself and those around you. Realize what a perfect creation you are. How totally capable you are of making your desired change.

Dismiss negative thoughts and use this time to heal old wounds. Replace the cold, dark corners of your mind with warm light of the love that abounds within you.

Don’t be afraid to give yourself credit for success. When you allow yourself to feel positive and focus on everything that you are instead of what you are not, a sense of gratitude and satisfaction will follow.

Positive Affirmations Create Positive Experiences

October 28, 2009 By Karen Ficarelli

Every single thought I have and every sentence I speak is an affirmation. I use my affirmations wisely. My new affirmation habit is to only speak of the good that I want in my life. This keeps me focused on the positive and actually causes so many good things to come to me.

I concentrate on all that I am thankful for and no matter what my challenge, I know that I am loved. This gives me the strength to overcome all obstacles.

Love is an ever-ready universal power that is here to help us overcome every challenge that we face in life. By giving love and receiving love we hold the key to everlasting happiness. Love always trusts, always protects, always hopes and always perseveres.

Fill your mind with loving, positive thoughts and gratitude. Write down these thoughts and read them to yourself each day. Believe in all that you are and all that you desire in life. Open your heart and be grateful for everything that you have achieved.
