The Secret Code Of The Ultra Successful

April 25, 2011 By Karen Ficarelli

No matter what your goal is in life, daily affirmations can help you attain success. Every great act begins with an idea. Affirmations will help to take those ideas and start to shape them into a reality. Highly successful people have practiced the art of affirmations for years. They know that in order to make a habit of something they must first convince their brain of this new idea.

If you believe it, you can achieve it. And that’s the hardest part of the challenge. Affirmations aren’t just empty words that you say in front of a mirror. You must believe in the affirmations that you are repeating in order for them to work. Your mind must be able to make a connection with what you are saying and what it encounters daily. If it is filled with self-doubt, you must quiet these doubts and convince your brain that what you are telling it, can and will happen.

Self-doubt is why many women find it difficult to rely on affirmations. However, affirmations are a great way to place a visible target in your mind to keep you focused on your goal. Your ability to believe in yourself is the key to your success. While you know for a fact that people can and do lose weight, there is self-doubt within you that says you failed before…be careful you might fail again.

In order to achieve something as difficult as changing your diet, you must first believe that it is possible. You need to affirm these beliefs by making positive declarations about the success of your diet program. By repeating these affirmations you train your brain to think to shrink.

I love to eat healthy foods.

My body looks beautiful because I exercise.

I am becoming stronger every day.

I will exercise for an additional 15 minutes today.

I feel confident and beautiful.

These affirmations will make you feel beautiful and strong, they give absolute commands that your brain will find easy to follow. If you repeat these daily to yourself, your mind will replace these positive phrases with old negative thoughts that invade your brain.

If you want success in your life, take a tip from the ultra successful people who know how to get things done. Try daily affirmations for a week or two and see if they work for you. Believe it to achieve it.

Five Ways To Make Affirmations Work For You

April 1, 2011 By Karen Ficarelli

In order to get the best results from your affirmations, you must fully believe in the power of what you are saying to yourself. You must believe it to achieve it. With all of your senses, you must feel the reality of your affirmations.

See it with your eyes. Visualization is a process where you envision the new you, the person who is physically fit, on top of her game, able to conquer the challenges that come her way.

1. Listen with your ears. Everyone loves a good listener, even you. Why not give yourself the same respect and attention that you extend to others. With complete attention given to your affirmations, say them aloud and listen to the words as you repeat your declarations. Fully believe that each of your affirmations is true and completely possible to achieve.

2. Reach out and touch it. As you repeat your affirmations, let the feeling of success flood over you. Allow yourself to really concentrate on what fitness will mean to you. Perhaps a chance to play with your children or grandchildren, maybe it’s to walk on the beach without feeling self conscious, allow the driving force behind your weight loss goals to fill your mind. Grasp that force and take ownership of the desire to become the person that you want to be.

3. Consistency trains the brain. Try to say your affirmations at the same time each day. The morning is usually the best time, as it readies your mind for the day’s tasks and sets it on the path to success. Even if you only allow yourself 5 minutes, try to make it the same time of day for the best results.

4. Go to your private place. When you say your affirmations, retreat to a private area of your home for the privacy you need to concentrate on what you are saying. Repeating them in front of a mirror has the advantage of being able to look yourself in the eye and know that what you are saying is possible.

5. If you want to achieve it, you must first believe it. As I said in the beginning, you must believe it to achieve it. Believe in your affirmations. Don’t say things to yourself that you simply do not believe is possible. If you want to make it simple, concentrate on just one affirmation each day or each week. Repeat this command to yourself daily and you will begin to see the results. Believe that you can… and soon you will find that affirmations work for you, too.

Good Things Can Happen With Positive Affirmations

March 9, 2011 By Karen Ficarelli

Just the other day, a friend of mine commented that anything can happen and that bad things happen to people every day. I looked at her for a moment; she has faced many obstacles both in health and financial matters in recent years. Her statement came as no surprise but I also knew that the opposite is true as well.

I smiled and told her that I agreed, that many matters are not in our control and that yes, bad things can and do happen. But I told her that everyday, every moment, good things happen to people, too.

She asked me how I maintained my positive attitude. It’s something that I strive for every day and in order to achieve it early, I begin each day with positive affirmations. Not only do I use them to keep me focused on my fitness program but I use them for nearly every area of my life.

I use my affirmations wisely, so that they don’t fall on deaf ears. By this I mean that what I say to myself is sincere. I repeat my affirmations aloud with conviction and believe whole-heartedly that these statements are possible. This positive self-talk sets my day on the right track.

Some examples of my affirmations are as follows:

I feel rested and energized and ready to start the day.

I look beautiful today.

I will have a great day, today.

I eat a healthy breakfast and it tastes wonderful.

I will leave for work on time.

When I exercise today it will make me feel stronger.

I will help someone today.

Don’t let others get you down, with their negative talk or constant complaints. While you can make suggestions that may help them, it’s important that you surround yourself with people who have a positive outlook on life.

Positive affirmations are a proven and easy way to make a significant difference in your diet and weight loss efforts. Believe what you say and allow your affirmations to focus your mind on making the right decisions.

Daily Affirmations To Help You Lose Weight

February 14, 2011 By Karen Ficarelli

When you are ready to lose weight and get in shape, make it happen with positive affirmations. Declarations that you say aloud that will set your mind in action. These daily testaments to your own abilities will give you the conviction you need to keep you focused on your goal.

Since losing weight and sticking to a diet and fitness plan can be one of the hardest things you can do, you need the powerful force of daily affirmations to keep on track. Begin each day by repeating your affirmations and believe that what you are saying is indeed possible in your life.

You must believe it to achieve it. That’s the foundation of any successful endeavor and losing weight and getting fit is no different. You must believe that you will lose weight. You must conceive the body that will soon emerge. This will direct your brain to achieve it. What your mind believes, your body can achieve.

I will eat healthy today.

I am losing weight.

My clothes fit better because I am losing pounds and inches.

I feel stronger because I exercise.

Exercise makes me feel exhilarated.

I crave fruits and vegetables.

My body is improving every day.

Repeating these affirmations aloud will help you in more ways than you realize. But the important thing is that you must believe in each one. Each one is a simple affirmation that if it is true you are losing weight, your body is improving and because of a healthier lifestyle you are beginning to feel better, every day.

Remember that above all, love is the most important quality of life. Your happiness, your love of self and others is the virtue that will carry you throughout life. Appreciate all that you have and all that you are. Good things happen every day and you can be responsible for the way some of these things affect you and others.

Using Your Senses To Promote Your Affirmations

January 21, 2011 By Karen Ficarelli

Affirmations are positive declarations or statements that you repeat over and over to train your brain. I call this process “think to shrink.” It is an excellent tool that you possess that can help you not only lose weight, but just about any endeavor you wish to accomplish.

In order to get the best results from your affirmations, you must fully believe in the power of what you are saying to yourself. You must believe it to achieve it. With all of your senses, you must feel the reality of your affirmations.

Visualize it. Through this process you envision the new you, the one with the slimmer body as a result of the weight that you have lost. See yourself in a smaller size, doing things that you have postponed because of your current weight.

Hear it. With complete attention given to your affirmations, say them aloud and listen to the words as you repeat your declarations. Fully believe that each of your affirmations is true and completely possible to achieve.

Touch it. As you repeat your affirmations, reach out and touch your goals. Let the feeling of what your success will mean to you. Perhaps a chance to play with your children or grandchildren, maybe it’s to walk on the beach without feeling self conscious, allow the driving force behind your weight loss goals to shine. Feel its full power and believe that it is possible to achieve the body that you desire.

Be consistent. Try to say your affirmations at the same time each day. The morning is usually the best time, as it readies you for the day’s tasks and sets your mind on the path of success. Even if you only allow yourself 5 minutes, try to make it the same time of day for the best results.

Seek privacy. Choose a private place to repeat your affirmations. Saying them in front of a mirror has the advantage of showing yourself just how dedicated you are to your beliefs. But more importantly, choose a place where you can be alone and undisturbed for at least 5 minutes.

Believe it. As I said in the beginning, you must believe it to achieve it. Believe in your affirmations. Don’t say things to yourself that you simply do not believe is possible. Start out slow if you need to and add affirmations daily. Constantly repeat these positive statements to yourself as you eliminate the negative arguments within your own mind.
